"I Like You"

Twice, while trick-or-treating, Ari stopped to look closely and deliberately at someone giving candy and said, "I like you!" This was selective, not just to anyone giving candy. Both were elderly people: one a man, one a woman. I don't know if silvery hair reminds her of her Nana, or if she has comfortable feelings left over from being cared for and loved by elderly people in China. At any rate, it was cute and interesting. They both said, "I like you, too!" (And the woman said, "She is so beautiful!")
